Service Management and Project Management in Academia

This survey is investigating the teaching of Project Management and Service Management in Universities.

Axelos (formerly the Cabinet Office) own the IP for Best Management Practice (BMP) which include PRINCE2 Project Management and ITIL IT Service Management.  On their Roadmap for Future Development, Axelos are engaging with Education and Academia to develop the teaching and accreditation of PRINCE2 and ITIL.

Many University courses teach Project Management based on PRINCE2, but don't offer accreditation.

Service Management covers many business areas from hospitality to facilities management.  ITIL is the BMP for IT Service Management; universities courses teach Service Management.

Many employees require job applicants to have PRINCE2 qualification, and more are requiring ITIL; the employability of university students is enhanced if they have formal accreditation.

This study which is supported by Axelos, aims to identify these courses and existing and future accreditation.

This study aims to identify courses and modules that include either or both of Project management and Service Management.

There are separate sections for Project Management and Service Management.

Please forward this survey to your colleagues who are involved in Service Management and / or Project Management.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. The number of questions depends on your answers.
